Joint Entrance Examination abbreviated as JEE is an entrance exam conducted to get admission into various engineering colleges of India. It is comprised of two different exams – JEE Main and the JEE Advanced. It is important to score good marks in the class 12 board exam as it plays a major role in JEE. Below are some study tips to prepare for JEE Mains.

Understand the Syllabus, Make a Schedule

Having an idea about the JEE syllabus along with the weightage is essential as the syllabus is vast. To get a good rank, you need to have a good command on all the 3 subjects viz Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics. Make a proper study timetable and follow it.

Know the JEE Main Exam Pattern

The exam pattern for JEE Main is as follows. The number of subjects is three viz physics, chemistry, maths. The exam is conducted for 360 marks and each subject has 30 questions. The type of questions asked is the multiple choice questions. For every correct answer, you will be awarded 4 marks whereas for every wrong answer 1 mark will be deducted.
